1. Scope and acceptance
These Terms are between you and the Shell Browser operator identified in the product, order, invoice, or other transaction record (“we,” “us,” or “our”). They cover the Shell Browser website, desktop app, browser profiles, team tools, automation workflows, desktop agent, downloads, and related support (together, the “Services”).
By creating an account, selecting acceptance, downloading, installing, purchasing, or using the Services, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy. If you act for an organization, you confirm that you can bind it to these Terms. Do not use the Services if you disagree.
2. Eligibility and accounts
- You must have the legal capacity to accept these Terms. A user under 18 needs a guardian's review and consent. The Services are built for business and professional use and are not directed to children under 14.
- Keep registration details accurate and current. Verification codes, passwords, and recovery methods may be used only by you or an authorized member.
- Use a strong password, assign roles carefully, and remove access when a member leaves or no longer needs it. You bear risks caused by poor control of credentials or access.
- If you find account theft, unusual access, or misuse, stop the access, update credentials, and contact us through an official support channel.
3. Services and license
While you follow these Terms and pay any applicable fees, we give you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, and revocable right to use the Services for your lawful internal business. Features, capacity, supported systems, and technical needs are shown in the current product, app, and order.
Some features require proxies, third-party accounts, extensions, scripts, files, or other resources that you provide. Unless the checkout page clearly says otherwise, these resources are not supplied by us. You are responsible for their source, license, security, and cost.
4. Acceptable use
Use the Services only where lawful, authorized, and respectful of other people's rights. You must not directly or indirectly:
- commit fraud, phishing, money laundering, spam, harmful marketing, account theft, credential stuffing, access-control bypass, or another unlawful act;
- access accounts, devices, networks, data, or systems without permission, or collect, sell, disclose, or misuse personal data, trade secrets, or credentials;
- evade sanctions, export controls, identity rules, or legal controls, or exceed the rules and permission of a third-party platform;
- spread malware, attack, scan, disrupt, or damage a service or third-party system, or run automation that creates an unreasonable load;
- infringe intellectual property, privacy, or other rights, impersonate another person, or mislead others about your identity or authority; or
- bypass plan, billing, or security controls, resell an account or service without permission, or reverse engineer, copy, or modify the Services where prohibited.
5. Your content and data
You keep the rights you lawfully hold in profile settings, account details, proxies, extensions, workflows, files, and task results you provide. You confirm you may process that content and allow us to host, transmit, back up, or otherwise process it only as needed to provide, protect, maintain, and improve the Services.
Do not submit data that is not needed for your work, including state secrets, data from an unknown source, or sensitive personal data without permission. Check recipients and access before sharing a profile, task, or project. See the Privacy Policy for personal data practices.
6. Plans, payment, and refunds
- Profile, member, and task limits, billing periods, prices, and taxes follow the checkout page and final order.
- Pay by the date and method shown in the order. Late, reversed, or failed payment may pause paid tools or lower capacity.
- A plan renews automatically or uses metered billing only when the checkout page clearly says so and you actively agree. You may cancel before the next billing period as explained there.
- Except where law requires otherwise, an order says otherwise, or a material fault is confirmed, delivered digital services are not refundable. We may consider use, discounts, taxes, and payment-channel rules.
- A price or plan change affects only a new purchase or renewal after the change. We will give reasonable notice of a material change.
7. Third-party services
Websites, platforms, proxies, extensions, and payment channels you access through Shell Browser are run by independent third parties. Their terms and privacy policies govern your relationship with them. We do not control their content, review decisions, account risk systems, network quality, or availability, and their presence does not mean they approve your use.
Back up important data and review risk before installing an extension, importing a script, connecting a proxy, or authorizing an agent task. You must handle account limits, data changes, fees, or loss caused by a third party with that party, except where law makes us responsible.
8. Intellectual property
We or our licensors own the intellectual property in the Services, software, interface, marks, documents, examples, and updates. All rights not clearly granted in these Terms are reserved. If you send feedback, we may use it to improve the Services without identifying you or exposing your confidential data.
9. Changes, suspension, and ending use
We may update the app or features, change compatibility, or briefly stop part of the Services for security, compliance, maintenance, or product work. We will try to give advance notice of a change that materially affects your rights, except for urgent security events, force majeure, or a legal order.
We may limit, suspend, or end an account or feature if you breach these Terms, create a security risk, fail to pay, or a law or authority requires it. You may stop use and request account closure through the product flow. Ending use does not cancel payment, damages, confidentiality, or other duties that should continue by their nature.
10. Risk and limits of liability
We use reasonable technical and management measures, but the internet, operating systems, proxies, and third-party platforms can fail, change, or be attacked. To the extent allowed by law, the Services are provided as available. We do not promise uninterrupted or fully secure service, support for every site, or freedom from third-party linkage, limits, or suspension.
Neither party is liable for an indirect loss, lost profit, lost goodwill, or lost data that could not reasonably be expected. Our total liability under these Terms is limited to the amount you paid for the related Services in the 12 months before the event. This limit does not apply to personal injury caused by our intent or gross fault, or to liability that law does not allow us to limit.
11. Law, updates, and contact
The laws of the People's Republic of China govern these Terms. The parties should first try to resolve a dispute in good faith. If that fails, either party may bring the dispute to a court with jurisdiction where the operator is based, unless mandatory law says otherwise.
We may update these Terms when law, the Services, or the business changes and will show the date on this page. We will give reasonable notice of a material update. Continued use after it takes effect means you accept it.
For a question, complaint, appeal, or account issue, contact us through Help or Support in the Shell Browser app or the official channel then published on our website. We will review the account and request and respond as soon as reasonably possible.
